We have a gel memory topper on our mattress which is excellent for our backs, BUT it also makes the bed cold to get into so we order thisheated mattress pad. I prefer to buy most things in person, at a store, where I can see the product, read about it, touch, etc. but I couldn't find one other than online so I bought this one mostly what I consider "on the blind". There were no reviews so I really took a chance......and it turned out to be exactly as I had hoped. First, it turns on almost immediately...no need to wait while it preheats.....and boy, does it put out heat...so this mattress heating pad is truly GREAT!

The idea is very good

I took the risk of ordering this mattress cover without having any reviews on it. The electric mattress was new. It is too big for a Queen mattress. But I put it under my main mattress pad. I don't feel the wires. At first I was very upset that the bottom half was getting hotter. But now I'm incredibly happy. This is genius! The controller cord is attached without a lock and this is bad. Sometimes the right controller gives an “E” error, but continues to heat up. Why wasn't the plug placed on the side? Why is he on top? For me, “3” is a comfortable temperature for sleeping. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase.
