our daughter had been using a flimsy, springy mattress for about 2 years before we finally decided that she needed an upgrade. We felt like the price point for this mattress fell in line with others that we were seeing so we decided to go for it. The mattress came vaccuum sealed but was easily opened with the tool that's provided. The matress quickly sprung to life and expanded to its full twin size in a matter of seconds. I was able to easily place on our daughter's loft bed by myself without any hindrance. I even climbed on the bed myself to test out the feel and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it seemed. The morning after the 1st night our daughter slept on it, she came out of her room with a big smile on her face and said "that was the best bed she ever slept on!" Safe to say, we're all very happy with the decision we made to purchase this mattress.

The mattress came neatly packed in a box, and even as someone petite, I had no trouble carrying it up to the attic—very convenient!
