A large, flat grater with cushion handle

I like this grater because of the size and plastic cushion handle. I can use it over a plate or sit it on top of a bowl or pan while grating. It grates cheese really well. It fit easily in my kitchen drawer because it nearly flat. It slices carrots well. I used it to grate potatoes for hash browns. It's dishwasher safe and cleans up well. I like it, a great value.

Very sturdy! I bought this to replace one that I had for 30 years and used all the time for cheese and shredding veggies. Then it turned up missing. After tearing my kitchen apart, I came to the conclusion that I would have to replace it. So I thought I'd try this one. It appeared sturdy and the price was great. And much to my surprise, it is great. Very strong and I .love it!
