I like the softness of this heating pad. It lays flat and doesn't crumple up like the old plastic ones. It's a great size for just about anywhere you need it. It covers my son back from side to side. If it gets too hot for me I place a towel over it and it's fine. It's also washable. I haven't had to wash it yet because I've only needed to use it 3 times. I love it and am glad I purchased it. I would purchase it again if needed.
