It lathers great! It doesn't dry my hair, and it also does not leave it oily. I use it in combination with the conditioner from this same brand. I LOVE the conditioner. The price is especially helpful. I have a house full of people with long hair! I used to swear by Shea Moisturizer until they changed the formulas and now that I found this, I won't switch back.
