My sister in law recommend we get this. I was hesitant. After having to move a litter box into my bathroom due to elderly cat. Litter kept getting all over the floor. Works wonderfully and is a fantastic size, I got the extra large sized mat one because I have a big cat, therefore an extra large litter box and this leaves plenty of room for her to get out and clean her feet. She seems to like the feel on her pads and there wasn't any weird odor or anything else to bother her. It's not as thick as I thought it would be so I'll see how long it holds up but I don't think I'll have any problems.
