I take a microwave when I go on trips along with a EcoFlow battery just in a case because I enjoy tea in the AM and like to heat up various foods. I just tried this and am so impressed. It heated my water for tea in minutes and was able to heat some canned chili and even made scrambled eggs in a silicone bag. I lover this thing and suspect it will go camping with me as it only uses ~300 watts.

Took this on a trip to Vegas so we could have hot water for tea and coffee first thing in the morning in our budget motel room. Took our own tea bags and packets of coffee. And it worked brilliantly. Was easy to pack and didn't take much room. Also easy to clean and re-use. Couldn't ask for more. It is a little pricey, but I think the convenience is worth it!

No Spout… why!? Don't buy this.

There's no pour spout, despite what the image looks like and what 99% of all “kettles” have. Instead, the top comes off (big waste of space) to reveal a flat untapered rim that's wider than most mugs. Someone's gonna burn themselves. The plastic top is somewhat cheaply made, and after extended use it would most likely crack. The electronics can't be separated from the container, so good luck cleaning it if you use anything other than water or if you have hard water. Really disappointed in this product and absolutely do NOT recommend.
