MidwayUSA Military Style 4-Piece ECWS -15 Degree Sleeping Bag System

I used this just the other day and the versatility is what sold me on it. From light weight summer under the stars to full winter multi day hike in the forest, this sleeping system will cover it all. I look forward to using it in Jan or Feb in the National Forest for winter trout fishing.

I loved this bag. I took it on a fishing trip to the Deschutes a couple of weeks ago. Nighttime temps were in the fifties. I slept on a cot under the stars with just the outer bivy sack and the inner patrol bag. I saved myself thirty minutes a day fussing with a tent by using this bag system, and kept my travel load light, as well. The bivy sack was windproof, and so I was able to ignore the wind coming off the hills on the lower river. The top of the outer sack is domed enough that I could stuff clothing into it and make a comfortable pillow. We did get some little sprinkles of rain one night but not enough to test the waterproof quality, although I wouldn't be afraid of being in this bag in the rain. I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs and didn't have any problems with the dimensions of the bag. I would have no reservations recommending this to anyone that needs a sleeping bag or a sleeping bag system.
