Baza Clear Moisture Barrier skin protectant from Coloplast creates a clear cover over the skin to keep away wetness that can cause irritation and other unwanted skin conditions. The skin protectant has a petroleum-based formulation that shields chafed, chapped or cracked skin to seal out moisture and help speed up the recovery process. It is suitable for individuals suffering from conditions associated with incontinence, including dermatitis, pressure injuries, and dry and irritated skin. Along with skin conditioners, the ointment has a mild scent that helps refresh and rejuvenate the skin. Its formulation is also compatible with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), allowing other products with this antiseptic and disinfectant compound to maintain their effectiveness for incontinence care.
