PediFix Visco-Gel Bunion Guard

I was suffering from a pronounced bunion on my left toe. Basically only surgery can fix the problem and it's a matter of me deciding when I cannot stand the pain anymore and seeking the surgical fix. In the meantime, I can wear (1) closed shoes like boots and sneakers with an orthotic insert sole, like when I work out on a treadmill or go hiking on a trail; (2) Birkenstock open toed sandals at home; or (3) Vionic dress shoes for dressier occasions. I currently own a pair of Vionic flat ballet shoes with the built-in orthotic cup and arch support. The shoe is very comfortable but the medium size makes the edge rub against my bunion, which is extremely painful. So, this Bunion-Guard makes a giant difference: I can wear this shoe and be comfortable all day! Other bunion guards come with a spacer between the toes which crowds my toes in my existing shoes and actually make it more painful for me. So this Bunion Guard works great for me!

I purchased this product mainly as a gift for my mother who has severe bunion problems and can only wear certain shoes because of them hurting and swelling under any slight pressure and then they end up getting worse due to that pressure. My mother had been considering the surgery to resolve her issues but is no longer thanks to these pads. She has been using these for about a week now and her bunions have stopped hurting her and she can wear more types of shoes now without any problems or pain, these pads have also made it to where her bunions have begun to get smaller, they are still there but not as bad or noticeable which is great. I personally don't have severe bunion problems like she does but being at risk of developing them I got myself a pair as well and absolutely love them, they have made any foot pain I have from standing long periods of time stop almost completely as well as make what small bunion issues I may have had disappear. These bunion pads work wonders and for the price as well as being reusable and easy to use I had to write a review because I would recommend these to anyone who has bunion issues slight or severe because they helped me and my mother immensely.
