I don't have intestines and such so I have to take it two to three times a day. It works great for bulking up chronic diarrhea. As far as the taste... I put it in juice. It's not really a bad taste, it's more of a texture thing, which leads me to my next point...drink it quickly as it starts to bulk in the cup. Is it as good as the name brand, absolutely. And, it less costly.

Good choice, great flavor

I bought this product to blend with some other powders for dieting. This is much better than I thought it would be. It has a really nice orange flavor and it is easy to drink because the flavor is good. I have tried other brands and this is my favorite.

Doesn't disolve well

This works. It's less expensive than the name brand. All good reasons to use it...except it doesn't disolve near as well, or as quickly as brands I've tried before. It still has a bit of that gritty mouth feel when it begins to gel. However, I'm still using it, so no complaints about the end result, but I won't be buying it again.
