When my hands are dry, it is a discomfort that I found to be not shared by my peers. And, for my entire childhood, it was a nearly inescapable dryness in my day-to-day. But this lotion has been my one salvation. It is the perfect consistency, almost like Elmer's school glue but not at all sticky. It leaves my hands feeling satisfied throughout the day with minimal reapplication. It's the first lotion I have used that isn't greasy-feeling. It is also wonderful for my elbows and knees that get dry and cracked during the colder months. The one I've purchased has no particular smell, although i have bought (and have been refunded for) a bottle that had a fishy smell and off-feel in the past. I do believe such a bottle is not standard for this product, as the overwhelming majority of my purchases have been fine. Once the product is sufficiently rubbed into the skin, I haven't noticed any transfer or residue beyond what would be typical for the natural oils on the hand.
