BlueHills Ultra Compact Airplane Travel Blanket 2 Pack Throw Blanket – Royal Blue

I know this is a travel blanket, but I got it with the idea of storing it in my car for emergencies. Since we live near a mountainous area, we get sudden snow storms and occasionally get stuck in the car in bad weather. So, I thought this would be good to keep on hand in the car. We did have those Mylar emergency blankets because they are so easy to store in a small car, but when my husband had to use one while stuck in a snow storm, he found it completely useless. When I received this blanket, I opened it and liked the large size, that would easily cover a person, or two people close together. I was able to also fit it easily back in the storage bag, which was nice. I think this is much better than just trying to store an old blanket in the car, since the bag will keep it much cleaner and nicely folded. It will hardly take up any space at all in the car and will be easy to find and use when needed. Because this is such a compact lightweight blanket, it isn't very heavy, but should be fine for our purposes. Overall, I am very happy with this travel blanket.
