I have one cat. My elderly neighbor has at least 3. She can't keep up with them. I use this by the cool. vent return. All you smell then is a nice lemon scent. I'm going to but more of these. I tried just opening half to start. It works fine. So no this isn't only for people who have pets. I'd give it 100 stars if I could.
