Nestle Carnation Vitamin D Added Evaporated Milk, 12 fl. oz. Can

I used Nestlé Carnation Vitamin D Added Evaporated Milk to make homemade chicken cream soup, and it turned out so yummy. It gave the soup a rich, creamy texture without being too heavy and blended perfectly with the other ingredients. I love how smooth and consistent it is — it really elevated the recipe. I'll definitely be keeping this on hand for more cooking and baking.

Bought this because it was on sale. I usually do not buy canned milk however, living alone sometimes even with buying a half gallon of milk some goes to waste before I use it all. I have used this to make the best mashed potatoes, mix it with scrambled eggs, and some really good hot cocoa when we had that last cold snap. It is good in my coffee and probably better than the powder mix I usually use. I forgot how good evaporated milk is. It was very handy to have on hand. You can add water if you feel it is too thick and chill for drinking. We always had evaporated milk in our kitchen when I was growing up now I remember why!
