I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT IT MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND ALWAYS WISHED FOR ANOTHER; NO OTHER TEA PITCHER HAS COMPARED TO THE USE I GOT OUT OF THAT ONE ! AS FAR AS I KNOW, TUPPERWARE PARTIES ARENT HAPPENING ANYMORE... THIS 1-GALLON GREEN COLOR IS LOVELY, COMPARABLE TO THE MINI PUFFED MINT CANDIES YOU ONCE GOT AT RESTAURANTS AFTER A MEAL... MEASURES 10.5" TALL x 9.25" WIDE INCLUDING HANDLE AND SPOUT; STILL MADE OF V-E-R-Y STURDY PLASTIC; STILL CONSTRUCTED ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE RED ONES WERE... TO OPEN A-N-D CLOSE: (1) HOLD THE PITCHER HANDLE WITH ONE HAND, (2) SLIDE INDEX AND MIDDLE FINGERS OF OTHER HAND (PALM UP) UNDER THE FLANGE OF THE CENTER PLUNGER, (3) PUSH THE PLUNGER DOWN WITH THUMB, (4) WHILE STILL HOLDING THE PLUNGER DOWN, PULL UP THE LID ENOUGH TO POUR OR PUSH DOWN THE LID TO CLOSE...
