2 Pack CO & Smoke Alarm

I installed this pair of smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors after ordering. First Alert is a very good brand and good quality. The price was really good. The smoke alarm did its job once whilw I was stir frying food in a very hot smoking wok and the smoke alarm went off as it should. The only minor problem was the lack of clear marking of which way to place the 9 volt battery in the battery door in the smoke alarm, but I figured it by observing that the hole size where the battery fits was 1 way only, when the battery is installed, It would help to have the battery terminal signs were clearly marked. Otherwise I am quite satisfied by the quality and appearance of the combo. To install them, you should measure the width of the holes and mark the wall accurately with a pen/pencil, so that you can install the anchors at the correct height and width, so a little thought while installing them is necessary. Would definately recommend this product and the price is very good.
