Although it is a chicken based seasoning it is actually quite excellent for frying fish, pork and chicken. I think could be used on many foods including potatoes and vegetables. Less sodium is definitely a good thing so I appreciate that it is offered in this 25% less sodium version. Definitely milder than the regular version, which is to be expected. Great to use when grilling.

When I received the seasoning mixes, I had just learned that my husband and I have elevated blood pressure and need to reduce our sodium intake. I was bummed about this because all I could think of was the "nasty" salt-free foods my mom used to have to eat when I was younger and I did not want to have to eat like that for the rest of my life! Well, I must say, the first night, I used the Less Sodium Montreal Chicken Seasoning and it was absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. The next night, I made tacos using the Less Sodium Taco mix and my family devoured them. My husband, the grill king, used the Black Garlic Parmesan Seasoning Mix to some ground beef and let it set for a couple of hours prior to putting a few burgers on the grill, topped them with the creamy mustard and those were some of the best burgers we've had. These seasoning blends and mustard are definitely not what I feared. I'm glad that I received them to try when I did because the timing and flavors are perfect for my needs. I highly suggest them to anyone, even if you're not on a reduced sodium diet because these seasonings just taste good.
