Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV Winter 265/40R21 105T XL SUV/Crossover Tire

So far these are some of the best winter studded snow tires I've ever driven on. I can't comment on tread wear yet, but these seem to grip in every situation. We had General Grabber Arctics before which I wish I had never bought, those were absolutely the worst winter tires, and that's not an exaggeration. These Nokians are worlds better, in a totally different class. We drive on a mix of paved town roads, highway and our town we live in is all dirt roads, so frozen layer of ice and snow in the winter. I have yet to feel this slip or slide on the dirt, and they don't skate like some studded tires can on pavement. If there is any downside to them though they are loud, there is twice as many studs in these as any of our previous tires and you do notice the noise. That's the only reason I marked comfort as a 4 and noise as a 3, they are loud. But to me that's totally acceptable considering these are supposed to keep you glued to garbage roads. I bought these because years ago we had Nokian Nordman 5s I think they were on a 2009 Ford Escape, those were great tires back then. I don't think you can beat Nokians as far as winter tires, there's just nothing else like them for real winter weather.
