Every serious home-chef foodie needs pro power tools for the kitchen and when it comes to long lasting, well made, high power tools You can't go wrong with Black and Decker! I will probably never use this mixer on the highest speed unless I'm mixing cement. This mixer is so well made and so powerful that i am very thankful for the gentle start feature where it starts out slower so you don't end up painting your walls with pancake batter. The attachments are well made, you get beaters, a whisk and dough hooks and they are easy to add and remove from mixer. I love how it all fits inside the handy snap on case which stores so easily in one streamlined package taking up very little room in cupboard. The design is so well thought out, they even recessed the power cord over to the side instead of the back so that you can sit the mixer on it's end on the counter like an iron. Very happy with this purchase, I highly recommend this mighty mixer!

I needed a new mixer bc I had lost some of my pieces and it was one I had for yrs and cheap when I got it. This one, Black Decker 5 speed Hand mixer, is the best hand mixer I've ever used! It was on sale at Christmas, came with a little plastic box that holds all the pieces and the mixer snaps on top so you can keep everything neatly stored and covered.

I just bought this and used it once. It made whipped cream fast, and mixed up cake batter without slowing - it definitely has more power than my last mixer! The holder is great. My only issue is that it's slightly heavy for my arthritic hands- but I'll gladly deal with that to have the extra power! It is not noisy, another plus. This was a good choice.
