OEM equipment always works best

Because it's made for Brother, BY Brother, it works perfectly. It may be more expensive than generic knockoffs, but the quality of the knockoffs always leaves at least a little to be desired. Besides, using non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer)will void the warranty, so you'd have to save a LOT of money to even break even!
