I bought this because I am horrible at shuffling and I hate doing it. And this works really well. But it knicks the sides of your cards very slightly. If I hadn't used like a brand new deck of cards to try it out at first I wouldn't even have noticed it. But luckily, I had some card sleeves lying around. I will say it works even better if the cards are in sleeves. Because without it like sometimes gets a little backed up. But with the sleeves they just slide right through. I tried it with smaller cards than normal playing cards, and it worked really well too. You just need the sleeves
