Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. **†Cooking Measurement Chart **Rice: 1 cup; Water: 1-½ cups; Yield: 3 cups; Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 4 **Rice: 2 cups; Water: 3 cups; Yield: 6 cups; Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 8 **Rice: 3 cups; Water: 4-½ cups; Yield: 9 cups; Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 12 **For drier rice, use ¹/4 cup less water. **For moister rice, use ¹/4 cup more water. **††Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired. **Microwave - From Ambient **Cooking directions in the microwave†††**1. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish, combine 1-3/4 cups water and 1 cup rice.††**2. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power; microwave for 10 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. **††Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired. **†††It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Excellent flavor
Because regular rice has gotten worse, I switched to Jasmine Rice, and I'm glad I did. Much higher quality and flavor. It really makes a huge difference when you're making Spanish rice or a traditional Asian dish. It's a little more expensive but definitely worth it.

a lot of people don't know the difference between plain rice and Jasmine rice. jasmine rice tastes better. maybe do a side-by-side taste comparison and you will definitely see that jasmine rise has a better flavor instead of just being a grain that goes to supplement your meat or poultry selection. I get this all the time and I recommend you try it today.

Very good rice and good price to go with it!
Jasmine rice is my go to rice! I use a rice cooker and it comes out just like the rice in Asian restaurants! Long grain is my preference. I don't think I could go back to regular grained rice-ever. You'll see that I bought 5 pounds- that's how good it is at a super reasonable price. I either eat it as a side to stir fry, or just heat up a bowl from the refrigerator and add a little soy sauce, or cinnamon and a tad of sugar and pour a little milk over it as a treat. A great snack on a cold night!
