Instructions
Stove Top Directions: Pick a Protein: You need 1 lb. meat of your choice. Ground beef; Ground sausage; Ground pork; Ground turkey. Cook: Brown ground meat in 3-quart saucepan. Drain fat. Mix 2 1/2 cups water, Rice mix and 1 tbsp. oil (optional) in saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.

I have ate this in the past but this one box they delivered I didn't get to eat because who ever the mail service was that delivered it must have thrown it out the window as they drove by because I found it in the street in front of my house in a rain water puddle.It was ruined I had to throw it in the garage.If I knew who the mail service was that was supposed to deliver it I would have called his/her supervisor to give a complaint. It's supposed to be delivered to my front door.

I have used this a lot. I add additional peppers, onions, celery that i cook with the meat (ground pork sausage, ground venison, or ground beef) I add a little more cajun seasoning and crushed peper (we like it spicy) and mix all in the same pot. I do not brain off the grease as i use lean meat and just add water. Perfect 1 pot meal.

Easy and delicious
I got this product free for my honest review. Zatarain's Dirty Rice was super easy to make and is perfect for quick weeknight meal when you don't have a lot of time to cook. I made it with ground turkey for my family of 4. It contains a little bit of corn and peppers and just the right amount of spice. I've used Zatarain's rice products before as well as Rice-a-Roni and this was really tasty and the family loved it!
