Zatarain's Non-GMO Enriched Parboiled Long Grain Rice, 2.0 lb Bag

I took a trip to Monroe, Louisiana and asked if they had any Uncle Ben's rice. The waiter said no but we do have Zatarain's and it is as good if not better. I whispered in his ear that I did not and could not eat gummy rice and if his Zatarain's was gummy please do not bring it out . You talking about some good rice and I had my Gumbo on the side, as Andy Griffin used to say " them some good eats". The texture , the smell the look and best of all the taste was fantastic. Since then I am Zatarain's all the way. I get the Zatarain's line of products now. I still get Uncle Ben's occasionally . It is a good price for a better product 2 lbs. for $2.72 Get some you will thank me!

Zatarains is the only rice I will use. Stays separate, never sticky. Always cooks to perfection. Add some salt and butter, and it is even good to eat by itself. I never use a rice cooker. Just follow the directions on the package. Can't go wrong with Zatarains rice. Perfect with your gumbo, etouffe, shrimp creole, etc.
