nuLOOM Risette Geometric Shag Tassel Area Rug, 4' x 6', Ivory

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've had it for a few days now and love it in our living room! Soft for the kids to sit on for Christmas morning, and the solid colour with with the texture pattern looks really nice in person. Very slight smell upon opening but not as bad as I was expecting. We will see how it holds up but I'm hopeful, fingers crossed!

Love, Love, love this rug. Was concerned at first that the fold marks might now disappear, as the 9 x 13 rug was folded in fourths rather than rolled, but the lines disappeared within a few hours. I had read a review or two stating the rug had a strong smell to it. Ours did have a rather strong smell, also, but we placed two small bowls of white vinegar near the edges of the rug for about 36 hours, and the smell dissipated, and is no longer noticeable. This rug is soooooo silky soft to the touch and the ivory color so lovely. We are extremely pleased and happy with this rug, as it exceeded our expectations especially considering it was under $300. We actually bought this rug to replace our $1500 area rug of the same size that did not wear very well and was difficult to vacuum and clean, and continued to shred the entire two and a half years we had it. Our dog has been known to have an accident on occasion, which means we feel the need to replace our rug more frequently than might otherwise be necessary. With a lovely rug so inexpensively priced as this one, we can buy a new one very easily.
