Silver Floss has ideal taste, texture, and price. We're sauerkraut fans and this brand can't be beat. We enjoy it with hot dogs, sausages, and pork. The 2 pound jar is inexpensive and the perfect way to store leftovers. Glass doesn't absorb smell or flavors and does nor transfer a tinny taste to the sauerkraut. America's Test Kitchen recommends grocery shelf sauerkraut over refrigerated because it has fewer preservatives and better flavor.
