the side button on the trigger makes it a little clumsy to use but the saw works well. It cuts a 2x6 without issues. It has good power, but have a spare battery if you're using it a lot. Handy for rvers too.

Does the trick for smaller jobs and tight areas

This 5 1/2 inch hand saw is one of the best products I've ever owned. Small, light-weight, but durable for just about any small to medium woodworking projects one might be considering. I've cut through 1/4" and 1/2" plywood with ease with this saw. Two by fours are a cinch, quick and easy. The 20V Lithium battery provides plenty of power to get the job done. However, depending on the type of wood one is cutting and how much needs to be cut, the battery will drain quicker. I discovered that; after constant hard use for about an hour and a half, the saw would stop cutting through the piece of plywood, indicating that it needed a charge on the battery. It took about an hour to recharge the battery. I highly recommend purchasing several extra batteries and keep them on charge so that one can continue on with their work instead of having to stop and wait for the battery to charge. If you're a person who likes to do small projects where a lot of wood cutting is involved, and you don't like hefting a heavier electric circular saw, this light-weight little saw will not only get the job done, but won't wear your hand/arm out while doing it. This saw is light enough for the average woman to handle and not get fatigued in the arms during use.

This Black and Decker saw is beyond amazing. It is small but mighty! The five and a half inch saw is all I needed to get all my job done. The hand saw is adjustable so you can also make angled cuts. The battery seems small but lasts around 2 hours, plenty of time to get work done. I usually have an extra battery charging in case I need a little more time which the battery doesn't require much time to charge only about an hour. This saw has more than enough power for all jobs. I loved the price on it and is very reasonable compared to other models. All in all, I found for this saw to be worth every penny and gets any small project done! I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.
