Compact but Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DCD805 Hammer Drill/ Driver is great. Tons of power in a compact drill, the head is onlt 7" long, weights just under 3 pounds. Paired with a 5ah battery it feels very well balanced in my hand. The anti-kickback saves the wrist from twisting. Love the bright 70 lumens, adjustable, 3 setting light, really illuminates your work target area. As far as drilling, with a 4.5" hole saw it ate through 3/4 plywood with ese, no issues. So far ive only used the hammer drill function for tapcons but it goes through that concrete no problem. Im loving this drill, nice job DeWalt

20V Max XR Hammer Drill for the Win!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 20V Max XR Hammer Drill is a fantastic tool for multiple jobs, projects and applications. The hammer drill was used in the installation of mount for a 75" TV above a fireplace. The compact size of this specific piece of equipment made holding the large mount while driving large lag screws possible. The amount of torque and the ability to run the hammer feature made driving the lags a piece of cake. The adjustable light made it easy to illuminate the target and increased visibility. As with all Dewalt products, the hammer drill is a very well built product that has all the power and performance necessary to handle all of the projects that a DYI'er and professional need,

Great Drill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great hammer drill. It doesn't quite have the same strength as the 999, but it's more than sufficient for most applications. I really like the light in the bottom, that you can adjust the angle, and leave the light on for awhile. It's almost like having another flashlight on site. It's also nice to have a drill handy with a chuck, gives more versatility for different drill bits. Overall, great drill!
