Instructions
Inserting the Refill is a breeze! 1. Pull the refill's plastic tab and remove the outer rim. 2. Starting at the notch left by the tab, pull about one foot of film. Then push down the film through the center of the rim and tie a knot at the bottom. 3. Open the lid and pull the funnel up. A lip around the inside of the unit will be visible. Place the refill so that it sits on the lip. Pull the handle and push the film down into the bottom chamber of the unit. 4. Push down the funnel and close the lid. Ready to empty the bag? Simply: 1. Open the unit at the middle. 2. Use the built-in-child-proof cutter to cut the bag then tie it. 3. Pull down plastic film to bottom of the unit, tie a knot & close the unit.

Strang and dependable
I've tried other brands of these, and with 3 cats, I need to do this and have a reliable bag that won't bust when you tie it off to take it out. I've had issues with some of the "generic" bags, being able to get the right pull to get the bag started, and ending up pulling all of it out, not just the first layer. I also like the fact I'm not having to change out the cartridge as often as the single bags. I will continue to buy this brand.

Great way to dispose of cat litter.
This is the best way to clean cat litter. I put the clumps in the Cat Genie bags which are housed in the Cat Genie container. When it fills up I cut the bag and tie it and throw it in the trash. It contains the cat odor very well. I've been using Cat Genie for over 7 years and I do not want to live without it. It makes my life easier especially having six cats. I highly recommend Cat Genie.

Its a good product but the roll is a bit short after tying the bottom (as close as you can ) you get only two fillings and then you are left with about a foot of bag you throw away . A tiny bit more on the roll would give you 3 . Which for the price is certaintly do able
