I bought it to replace an inferior brand after I was locked in my bathroom because the lock broke! After that ordeal, I decided to go for the BEST BRAND with certified durability. Trust in the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded the doorknobs for my aging mother. I knew that I needed a lever knob I could rely on. I'm very happy that this model was still in production. It was installed on the master bathroom during a renovation 15 years ago and she says that it's much easier to use than a round knob. Read the directions (all the way through) switching the plate from rectangular to round is mentioned in the first step but explained in the last diagram. The handles are easily swapable for right or left handed installation. The quality, apparently, hasn't diminished over the past 15 and 25 years. We had upgraded knobs for my grandmother a quarter century ago! Although I'm pretty handy, I know that working on doors can be tricky. Against my better judgment, I heedlessly installed the knobs without checking the fit at every step. NOT ONE PROBLEM! So happy. The most intricate part was using a chisel to widen & deepen the rectangular plate cutout in the door (could also have been done with a boxcutter, but hey, like I said, I'm handy). I highly recommend this product.
