The Deluxe Thermo-Kitty Bed has a dual thermostat, 4 watt heating unit buried within its thick premium polyfil pillow base. It warms the surface 10-15 degrees above ambient air temperature when not in use. When your pet lies in the bed it warms to your pet's normal body temperature to keep them cozy warm. The heater is removable making this cozy cat bed perfect for all seasons. The removable cover is completely machine washable and easy to keep clean. The attractive leopard print is a kitty favorite. You'll notice that the K&H Heated Bed may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. THIS IS NORMAL! Our products are designed to only warm when your pet is lying in the bed. You can test the pad by placing a large pillow on top of the bed. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. If you feel warmth, the product is working as designed. For use with 110/120 volt electrical current only.
Fabric Care Instructions
Remove the cover from the bed. Machine wash cover only, separately. Mild detergents, no bleach. Cold water, gentle cycle. Air or line dry. Dry completely before reassembly.

A nice warm bed for our cat on cold nights!
Our cat ignored this bed for about 2 months, but then he began to use it. In Northern California where we live, the temperature at night can be pretty cold, so it provides a warm place for him to sleep, and sometimes he also takes a nap in it during the day. Yes, we would recommend it to a friend.

really cozy!
I actually bought this for an outdoor kitty and use it on a chair on a fairly protected porch. said cat thinks it is a HUGE upgrade from the blanket I had on a different heater. I bought the large and it is barely big enough for him with an extra fleece inside for him. The pad on the bottom that has the heat pad in it is not padded enough in my opinion. the heater in this one is only 4W, the other heated pad I have is 6W, but it seems warm enough. The rounded hood doesn't stay up as well as in the pictures, its a little flatter, but it still provides some extra protection from the wind.
