Sony STR-DH190 Bluetooth Home Theater Stereo Receiver

Very few companies make two channel (stereo) systems anymore. What you find more commonly are multi-channel home theater systems. My need was for a stereo amp and this Sony unit works perfectly. Each amp is rated at 90 watts rms into 8 ohms full range (20-20K Hz). In addition, the amp is designed to handle 6 ohm loads. For those who have old acoustic suspension 4 ohm speakers, my guess is this amp will work just fine as long as you don't drive the speakers overly hard. In short, the receiver has high power, low distortion, full range (20-20K) amplifiers. Next it has a real turntable input including the ground terminal for the tone arm and it works just great. That is, no hum and the sound is clear and clean. In summary, it is hard to believe that for this price you can get such a powerful unit with all of the features you'd ever need. 20 years ago, you would have paid more than twice as much for a receiver this powerful.
