PORTER-CABLE 1/4-Inch Single Speed Laminate Trimmer, Pce6430

This is a fine little trimmer/router. It's compact and fairly quiet. I've been using it to mortise some door hinges. It's much easier to handle than my full-size router. It has enough power to drive a 3/4" mortising bit without trouble. I like the clear plastic base; it gives a decent view of the work area. The only improvement I can recommend would be a built-in LED light. I see a review where there is a complaint that the height lock doesn't stay snug. Mine is just fine. If yours is loose, read the instructions! The instructions clearly describe how to adjust the locking collar. On the whole, it's a bit better than I expected for the price.
