Spitter may not be suitable for HDTV

I was trying to figure out why I was have unstable HTDV signal. I have even bought a number of antennas. In my research I have learned that digital signals require a splitter to be above 900mhz, 2ghz would be better. I changed my splitter and the signal is now stable.
