This blackened seasoning is the perfect blend! I use it on mahi mahi and chicken It is not too spicy for those who like a little spice but not too much If you know that blackened means spicy that is Even better try pairing with rice and also with a Tony Chacheres for an awesome flavor and a little kick!

Love Ukrops' blackened chicken, but...

Just the right balance of spices in this blackened seasoning. I love the Ukrops blackened chicken, but at $4 per (small) piece, this seasoning satisfies my desire for blackened chicken for my salad. Make it at home for far less...easy to sprinkle on ... tastes great.

Best blackening for fish

Years ago, when we would visit friends in Florida and go out to eat, I would have my fish slightly blackened. I wanted to re-create that at home when I cooked salmon, mahi, or snapper. I tried many different blackening spice mixes until I found Zatarain's. It is the flavor I want to use on my fish.
