This was really tasty!
It was easy to make, and I think that any meat of your choice would be good with it. We used hamburger, and everybody loved it! I think it's a little bit spicier than other similar products, and we love spicy so that was a plus for us. I would definitely purchase this product and recommend it to others. Beans and rice together make a complete protein, so you could even eat this without adding meat to it, which would make it even quicker and easier to make. I'm thinking of trying that for a weekend lunch!

Quick Dinner Full of flavor and a touch of spice.
I received Zatarain's Dirty Rice dinner mix free from BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. We used ground beef and corn in our mix. It was easy to follow the directions and make. It is a tad spicy, which we didn't mind but the corn also helped offset it and add a bit of sweetness. But it was a great dinner for the family and full of flavor! My husband added sour cream and salsa to his and it gave it some southwest flair. I also like that the mix made enough for a family. We had leftovers to eat for lunch the next day!

I've tried quite a few boxed rice mixes over the years, but Zatarain's Dirty Rice easily stands out. Compared to other brands, it has a richer, more authentic Cajun flavor — the seasoning tastes bold and perfectly balanced without being too salty. The texture cooks up fluffy every time, and it holds up great whether you add ground beef, sausage, or keep it meatless. One of the biggest benefits of owning this product is convenience. It's quick to prepare, budget-friendly, and turns into a full meal with just one added ingredient. I love that it gives that homemade Louisiana flavor without needing a pantry full of spices. It's perfect for weeknights when I want something hearty but don't want to spend an hour cooking. Would I buy this again? Absolutely. It's a pantry staple at this point.
