Zanfel works for me.
Zanfel is what you should use if the ivy, Oak or Sumac has taken hold. It will go into the skin and neutralize it. Be sure to use a strong detergent or bleach if you need it. I spent years with a swimming pool in the back yard in the summer time. The swimming pool Chlorine kept the Ivy from taking hold. Everyone is different. I can only say what worked for me.

Nothing works better
Be sure to read the directions and as long as you do as instructed, this stuff is awesome!! I am very allergic to poison ivy and it would normally take me 2 painful, miserable weeks to get through an exposure. With Zanfel, it stops the reaction in it's tracks. In just a few days, you could hardly tell I wsas exposed. Relief within 1-2 applications, depending how bad the exposure was. It's expensive, IMHO, but nothing else works as good as it does!

I know it's a bit expensive, but it works! Half of our property is woods and someone always gets poison rashes every year. We keep this stuff on hand, and are very pleased with its effectiveness.
