It provides shade for my table and my bedroom window from the HOT SOUTH SUN!!! It's been as hot as 120*!!! It's held up well in windy weather too!! Up to 15mm h, I do have protection from North wind though. Very sturdy as set up.

Absolutely love these umbrellas, I bought a second one! They are well worth the price, were delivered quickly and the bases I bought with them, work perfectly. I will say the dark gray coloring has already begun fading but it is an unprecedented heat wave here and unusually high temps... still, the umbrella keeps my patio tolerable by providing adequate shade.

A great umbrella for shade!

This new umbrella for my deck came right before I left on a mini vacation and delivered right to my door steps. I just put it up by myself! And it is just as pictured in the add. Now, the instructions say it's a two person job to put up! Nope, I'm a 68 year old female and it was easy for me to do! Will be used a lot here in this Arizona hot summers! Going to add netting to go around to keep pesky insects out!
