Carlson Secure Foldable Single Door Metal Dog Crate, Small, Black, 24” L

I wanted a crate for our puppy that would be a safe place for her to go lay in. One that is easy to clean. One that is easy to put up and fold down. We wanted a removable tray for the training period. We were also looking for a crate that we could travel with. This crate fit the bill for us. The plastic tray slides out the front of the cage for super easy clean ups. The double lock was a bonus for the training time and the little escape artists. The whole crate goes up and folds down so easily and has a plastic lock that snaps the folded down crate together for easy carrying,traveling and storage. When this crate is put up it locks in place and is very sturdy. The whole thing cleans so easily with a garden hose and drys quick in the sun. Has a nice finish that will keep it from rusting. I do wish this crate came with a snap on handle for easier carrying since we travel with ours alot. This crate has been Izzy approved. She loves her crate. This is a Carlson Compact and secure metal dog crate. This crate is an extra large, black dog crate. It measures 48inches long,30 inches wide and 36 inches long. The wire is coated in a black finish. I believe this will keep the cage from rusting. Altho I wouldn't leave it outside without a cover. It seems very sturdy. I went over this crate to see if there is any way of a pet escaping. With all the latches and catches in place, your dog is not going to get loose. When traveling in a truck, I would secure the crate down to prevent sliding. Also it would be a good idea to put some kind of bedding in the crate as well. You could also use this for a cat or puppies. The wire of the cage is too narrow for even a cat or pup to go through. The crate could also be covered with something to give your dog the feeling of a comfy place to hang out. It also contains a large hard plastic tray in the bottom. This black tray has a 'lip' on it that's about 1 1/2 inch which will keep anything from spilling out. The back panel can be opened to remove the tray for cleaning. The tray can be hosed down for a quick clean. There is a door in the front of the crate that is large enough for a large dog to enter without any problems. The door has 2 locks on it for added security. This cage is large, but will fold down into a compact piece that can be slipped under most beds. Also the tray installed, folds down with it.
