Work Sharp Combo Knife Sharpener

I received the knife sharpener and it contained an extra sanding belt. I am not familiar with sharpening knives with a belt sandpaper. I used the kitchen counter type. This one takes practice.so I suggest trying it on an old knife until you get the hang of it.

This combo knife sharpener by WorkSharp arrived just in time as all our knives were really dull and contemplating replacing it all. Before initial use and if you haven't used something like this before, it's a good idea to read the instructions. My head hurt a little reading through it as it was my first time and was trying to make sense of the directions which I was able to grasp. The best way to get acclimated to this sharpener is with the QR code provided on the box or instructions. Scan the QR code with a mobile device to watch the demo video that summarizes the instructions visually, which is ideal. Essentially it's a plug and play once the nuances are figured out. I was able to sharpen all knives I could find from kitchen knives to pocket knives and serrated knives. Included also is a spare flexible abrasive belt. The belts are 120 grit and not sure if you can get variations of that. Also, there is a fine grit ceramic hone to manually remove any burrs after sharpening. Overall, this knife sharpener will extend the life of all your knives, saving on costs in the long run. Ideal for any household and highly recommended.
