This is not the first pair, This is actually the second pair for the second child they do wear out a little faster than I'd like because of the toes getting bumped on everything but they are great shoe and for the price, you can't beat it for western boots. Not another pair round that is this quality that less then double its price so I can buy two pair pairs of shoes and have them out last a pair of Durango's
