Work well under school uniform socks on colder days. Usually kids tights are way smaller than advertised, but these fit my average slim 10-11 y.o. I always buy the largest size available in kids tights (Sometimes I buy adult small for her, but in this case the price for kids was better). I usually treat them as disposable, but I tried to machine-wash one of these once and they didn't break.
