My 5-year-old granddaughter loves unicorns. This was the only thing she asked for on her birthday. She squealed with delight when she saw it. She rides on it daily. It comes in 2 sizes. I purchased the bigger/taller one because my grandkids are bigger and taller than most their age. I also knew her older cousins would want to ride on it too. They all love it! My grandson asked for the brown horse that does the same thing. This one was the perfect size for my tall 5-year-old granddaughter. If your child is petite or younger than 5, get the smaller horse, as they need to be able to reach the foot pegs to make it work. The larger size is great for bigger, taller kids. My other granddaughter is 8 years old and she also fits perfectly on the bigger horse/unicorn. It looks great in her room when she isn't riding it too. This isn't a little toy. It's about the size of an adult Great Dane Dog. I hope this helps you to decide. Your child will not be disappointed. This is made well and should last for years.
