Not Too Spicy, perfect bland of delisiousness!

We absolutly love this blend. We pickled cucumbers, beets, peppers, green onions, cabbage and even beef sausage with this blend. 1 envelope made a HUGE batch we even had some left over. I used it on a small jar of pea pods. We will DEFINATLY use again before Christmas as we are only gifting homeade gifts this year. So glad we found it and tried it. Perfect! It's not too spicy and you can up the spice level to your own taste with crushed red pepper.

I love the ease of use, the taste and the spices. However, and I can't figure out why but I use finger size cukes and let them pickle at least a week before I eat. However they tend to run to the soft or mushy side, but they taste great! I even used 1/2t of alum per pint jar which is double the recommended amount of 1/4t! Some will be soft crispy. Very worth the price and ease of use because of the great taste.
