QUITE OUTSTANDING WINTER BOOTS!

I'm writing this review in December 2025 because I bought these boots a year ago and they have been just outstanding for cold and snow. They have been snuggly warm, and wet snow doesn't penetrate through the material. They are also very surprisingly well made and effective, especially considering the price. Also quite comfortable and they ran true to size (I wear women's size 9 and FYI, I bought the dark gray in size 9 since sometimes things vary by color or size and they are perfect.). One odd thing but with a built-in fix... the tongue is attached at each side so with normal lacing it would stick out at the top, but the laces provided are nice and strong (paracord) and quite long so I criss-cross them in the back first, then bring them forward to the front and trap the top of the tongue with the tie off bow at that point. It stays in place AND snugs the protruding tongue down flat quite well. In fact, when pulling snow off the top of my car, it often lands on the tops of my boots but has never fallen inside or penetrated, so lacing them that way (which I wouldn't have otherwise) turns out to be a really ideal thing, making the whole boot snow-tight. From all criteria relevant to snow boots and the cold, these get a very strong "yes" recommendation from me, for sure.

Was replacing a pair of Sorrels and thought I would try this brand based on the price and reviews. I am so glad I bought them! They are a very good quality boot with good treads to handle our snowy/icy conditions. The boots do run large, so my advice is to really think about how you like to wear your boots. If you are a sockless type of boot wearer, definitely size down. If you are a thick sock wearer, order your exact size. In my case, I ordered my size which is a 10. The boots felt more like an 11. I usually am not a sock wearer or if I do wear socks, they are thinner. In this case, I added a pair of very thick socks and the boots fit perfectly! Honestly, I probably should wear socks anyway. That being said, the boots have good width (I do have wide feet), plenty of calf room, a zipper on the side that works well, a lace up front, and a fuzzy warm interior with faux fur detail on the uppers of the boots. I also love the front has some splits instead of a solid boot, so you are able to get the flex you need when walking or bending, but it is not so low that snow will get in your boots. The boots are also NOT too heavy like some brands of boots that feel like lead weights every time you take a step. They are well very made, and I imagine I will have them for many years. As a side note my husband is a brand snob who has to constantly be convinced that there are unknown brands out there who actually offer quality products at affordable prices, and he was blown away by the quality of these boots! That says something! I am obviously very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them!
