Just buy it!

I was a little sceptical at first as i am used to carrying the old nailer n tank thinking that cordless would not be able to complete an entire house with trim but dewalt clearly proved me wrong! With my corded nailer the jams were a common thing something that i would just learn to live with! But man am i happy with this! Less tools to travel with or dragging a cord around makes me very happy i am finally free of that and what a feeling, most people dont like the being free of the cord but once you are its like being reborn again! Have fired probably a million nails in this thing already with using softwood and oak and maybe have had 5 jams! That's incredible to say, overly impressed with this an considering buying the framming nailer which is getting amazing reviews!!!

Pleasantly surprised

I bought this 2 days ago, so that I could install a bunch of baseboard in multiple apartments. My gas powered cordless brad nailer had a bent firing pin, and I didn't want to have to drag a compressor up and down 4 flights of stairs. I had used a battery powered cordless brad nailer in the past and I was definitely dissatisfied with the performance of it; you could only fire 15 - 20 brads before there wasn't enough juice to countersink the brads. I figured with 2 new 20 volt batteries and a brushless motor I could probably make it through half a day or so before I would need to stop and charge all my batteries again (I have a total of 5 batteries). I was definitely wrong, I went 2 days on a single battery, shot like 2000 brads. I am very impressed,

Say goodbye to your air compressor!

Owned for ~ 3 years, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had a jam, and I've gone through thousands and thousands of nails. Will run for quite awhile, even on a 1.5ah battery, keeping the tool lightweight. A bit large, but in 99% of situations, this isn't a limiting factor for me. Love not having to get the compressor out for a quick piece of trim!
