Hellmann's. Hellmann's. Hellmann's. That's all there is to it. In my opinion, Hellmann's has a sweeter taste than the competitor, which has more of a vinegary taste. Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise is used on a daily basis in my household of 7. As the home chef, I use Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise in all of my salads - egg salad, shrimp salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, and pasta salad. I coat my bread for grilled cheese with this mayonnaise instead of butter, for a crispier bread, and I coat raw chicken with Mayonnaise and mustard before coating with breadcrubs or crackers. I always purchase the largest jar possible. There simply is no comparison. Hellmann's is the Real Winner1

The classic can not be imitated. I had tried one from a competitor, and they kept saying it is just as good as Hellmann's- but to be honest, although it was cheaper. One jar that I had after a few months turned a nasty shade of brown, and I had to toss it out. There were no savings, as the brand-new container ended up in the trash. I went back to the BEST there is with no regrets- more expensive? YES, but the quality vs value is still superior to all the others.
