purchased this to make our yard a little more private. We have a fence but it's chainlink. The material is heavy which is great because it makes it less sound like a tornado when the wind hits it. I used the eyeholes to secure it to the fence with zipties. I like it so much I am going to buy a second one in a different height for another spot along my driveway. Canvas is super dark so definitely can't see threw it
