Compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned this for 5yrs. Used other models but this gets in between studs, cut at any angle and power. Used it in remodel , outside for fence,tree stumps. this is the most versatile saw.Far greater stability when in your hands because of the grip. love this saw.

Versatile, powerful and effective!

I bought the DeWalt 12.0 Amp/3000 spm recip saw this weekend and had a large amount of cutting to do in the yard. This included taking out a dead, hardwood tree with 8" trunk. Took the tree down with a 12" pruning blade. Also many overgrown Oleader trees with 2" to 4" trunks. The saw did all the cuts no problem. We just ran out of space to dispose of all the trimmings!

Exactly What I Needed!

I bought this saw to cut large underground roots from tree stumps. With a set of pruning blades, this saw cut those very dense hardwood roots like a hot knife through soft butter. At first, I though the compact design might hinder working in tight spaces but it worked better than I thought it would.
